„VALMAX“ EOOD is a beneficiary under Administrative Agreement No. BG16RFPR001-1.008-0201-C01 for the provision of grant funding „Introduction of Industry 4.0 Technologies at VALMAX Ltd.„ dated August 5, 2026, under the “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises“ Program 2021–2027, Call for Project Proposals No. BG16RFPR001-1.008 „Introduction of Industry 4.0 Technologies in Enterprises.“.

The total eligible project costs amount to 463,000.37 euros. The grant amounts to 230,075.17 euros, of which 195,563.89 euros represents funding from the European Union.

The project start date is August 5, 2026, and the completion date is November 5, 2027.

This project aims to provide targeted support to „VALMAX“ LLC to increase its level of digitization through the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, which will lead to increased productivity in the manufacturing process, resource optimization, automation of operations, and, consequently, increased competitiveness.

The latter will be achieved through an investment in the main economic activity, including expenses under Item A under the „regional investment aid“ scheme“

– software for real-time visualization, monitoring, and analysis of the condition of machinery and equipment (CME);

– a high-tech, multifunctional CNC machining center (fixed assets).

Through the acquisition of software for real-time visualization, monitoring, and analysis of the condition of machinery and equipment, the following technologies will be implemented:

– Big Data Analysis, Big Data Analytics Tools, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) – enabling the collection, structuring, and analysis of large volumes and diverse types of production data in real time from key machines

The acquisition of a multifunctional CNC machining center will enable the implementation of the following technologies:

– Digital Twin (DIGITAL TWIN) – simulation and optimization of the production cycle without trial runs;

– Edge computing – computational processes will be performed at the „edge“ of the production network, i.e., within the machine itself;

– Cyber-Physical System (CPS) – the integration of physical equipment, a digital model, and intelligent control, enabling local analysis and automatic adaptation of production parameters.

As a result of the investment, „VALMAX“ EOOD will achieve:

– a high degree of automation of key operations, integrated into the newly installed multifunctional CNC machining center;

– a high level of digitization of key assets in the production process through their integration into production monitoring software;

– greater efficiency and quality through real-time monitoring and automatic adjustments to the machine being installed;

– expanded production capacity and market share through high-value-added products;

– reduced operating costs and elimination of non-production activities;

In conclusion:

The project will achieve the objective of the procedure—to increase the level of digitization through the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.

Its implementation will ensure VALMAX EOOD’s transition to Level 4 „Transparency“ on the Industry 4.0 Maturity Index, characterized by real-time monitoring and analysis, analytical data processing, process optimization, and digital integration. This will lead to greater efficiency, productivity, and a sustained increase in the company’s competitiveness.
